Benefits of Stainless Steel

  • IT DOESN’T RUST
    • Stainless steel jewellery doesn’t rust.
    • It also doesn’t oxidize like bronze or brass so it won’t change colour over time.
    • Stainless steel is also resilient to water.
  • IT DOESN’T GET SCRATCHED EASILY
    • Stainless steel jewellery doesn’t get scratched or damaged easily like other metals.
    • It also doesn’t need to be polished or buffed as often as silver, gold, and platinum.
  • IT IS HYPOALLERGENIC
    • Being hypoallergenic means that it is unlikely to cause an allergic reaction.
  • IT IS RECYCLABLE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
    • Stainless steel jewellery is recyclable with an almost 100% recovery rate.
    • It’s not harmful or toxic to the environment.
    • This makes stainless steel jewellery an excellent choice for anyone who wants to make more sustainable choices.
  • IT MATCHES MOST OUTFITS
    • Stainless steel jewellery goes with most outfits, from casual wear to formal attire. You can dress it up or down depending on the occasion.

However, there are things you can do to help maintain your jewellery for as long as possible.

  • Give your jewellery occasional breaks from every day wear.
  • Keep jewellery away from moisture and chemicals.
  • To avoid scratching, store jewellery separately.
  • Store jewellery in our jewellery boxes.
  • Clean your jewellery with a jewellery cloth or dry cloth regularly to help maintain their longevity.
  • Avoid wearing your jewellery in places like the pool, steam room, shower, jacuzzi or sauna as the exposure to chemicals may tarnish or cause wear to your item.

If your huggie hoop earrings have lost their click…

  1. Take the earring in the open position and gently use your thumb to push up on the curved post.
  2. If you do this gently, you will ever so slightly push the curved post upwards and you will find that the earring will close again with a tighter “click”.
  3. If you find that you cannot get the earring to close, you may have pushed the curved piece up too much. Try pushing on it ever so slightly to move it downwards a bit. Then try to snap the earring closed. You can adjust the curved post down or up until you hear it click into the locking mode tightly.

By doing this, your huggie hoop earrings will be tight and working like new.
